The public’s desire to protect,
improve and re-establish a personal relationship
with the heritage of features and places which
surround them is growing, as more groups engage
in local environmental initiatives. Elsewhere,
individuals have become detached from their landscapes,
and no longer understand their relevance and the
need for their active management and stewardship.
‘I Care for Wales –
do you?’ encourages local people
and decision makers to value the landscapes which
surround them and become more involved in looking
after them.
We are working with our partners
to develop exciting ways of making people appreciate
and improve landscapes throughout Wales.
